My skin looks dewy after using and although it doesn't give the slipper feel, my skin never over dries or looks dull when I use it.  I was using proactive and with Aveeno (and my regular prescription cortisone cream) for about 6 months when I finally gave up. Just too much money for no results. Plus, the toner with proactive made my skin really dry and kinda seemed like it was getting darker. The wash in this kit is creamy and cleanses well.
